As co-founder and President of LBPM, Robert Lopata has become a significant force in the Los Angeles property management industry. Established in 1989, LBPM is a widely recognized and established real estate services company, managing approximately 16,000 residential units and over 1 million-square-feet of commercial real estate.
Focused largely in the San Fernando Valley and greater Los Angeles area, Lopata oversees a company with more than 200 employees, operating a $10 billion portfolio exceeding 750 individual properties.
In addition to LBPM, Lopata is actively engaged in the acquisition, development, and refurbishment of properties including apartment, office and lodging.
A native of Los Angeles, Lopata was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Moving to the Westside long enough to graduate UCLA and begin his career, he returned to the Valley in the early 1990s to raise a family with his wife, Jennifer, who owns and operates an educational services company, Synergy Academics, in West Hills. Together they have three children, Jason, 24, Carina, 22, and Ryan, 18.
In addition to HOTB, Lopata and his wife are involved and active in a variety of charities and institutions, including the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, The Fulfillment Fund, USC, The Viewpoint School and various religious and civic organizations.
