Byrdie Lifson Pompan has had a long career in client service and advocacy, co-founding Clear Health Advisors in 2013 in partnership with Dr. Valerie Ulene, a venture dedicated to improving patient care and committed to excellence.
For more than 20 years, Lifson Pompan was an agent and partner at Creative Artists Agency (CAA), the world’s leading entertainment and sports agency, representing many of the entertainment industry’s most respected screenwriters and directors, including many Academy Award winners.
Through a deeply personal journey, she grew passionate about the issues surrounding patients’ needs and healthcare quality and transitioned out of entertainment.
A native of Los Angeles, Lifson Pompan received her B.A. degree in 1988 from UCLA; and a Masters degree in Healthcare Leadership in 2016 from Brown University.
She has been active in several charitable organizations over the course of her career and currently serves as an executive board member for Valley Community Healthcare, a clinic serving 29,000 people in underserved communities; Sky’s the Limit Fund; Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America; Communities in Schools; and CAA Foundation.
